Fritz is the six-year-old nephew of Barber Daniel Dehoyos. In 2017, at just ten months old, Fritz was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is the most progressive form of Muscular Dystrophy. Those living with Duchenne typically lose the ability to walk between the ages of 8-12, experience weakening of their upper extremities in their late teens, and experience failure of both heart and diaphragm causing them to not survive their mid-twenties. There is no cure….yet.

This Barbershop was named to bring awareness and change for those living with Duchenne. Not only does this shop desire to deliver quality haircuts, and clean shaves, it desires to spread awareness and to give strength to those living with Duchenne.
