Fritz is the three-year-old nephew of Barber Daniel Dehoyos. In 2017, at just ten months old, Fritz was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is the most progressive form of Muscular Dystrophy and is 100% fatal. Those living with Duchenne typically require the use of a power wheelchair by age 12, lose the ability of their upper extremities in their late teens, and experience failure of both heart and diaphragm causing them to not survive their mid-twenties. There is no cure….yet.

This Barbershop was named in honor of Fritz and those living with Duchenne. Not only does this shop desire to deliver quality haircuts, and clean shaves, it desires to spread awareness and help bring strength to those living with Duchenne.
